EquipmentShare is Hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic)
EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic) for our McKinney, TX market to be responsible for providing maintenance and repair on company owned trucks and trailers.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, Fridays off with on call weekends rotation.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on malfunctions or breakdowns on trucks and trailers.
- Preventative Maintenance.
- Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.
- Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.
- Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.
- Complete annual inspections.
- Travel to different areas.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid drivers license required
- At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
- Welding experience required
- Air Brake Certification required
- DOT Inspector Certification preferred
- Must have proper tools
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and been freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
