As a Talent Management Program Manager, you will implement and manage key learning and development programs and initiatives, increase employee engagement, enhance the overall employee experience, and strengthen our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and brand. These programs and initiatives will be linked to key business goals, opportunities, and targeted results across the business. You will work across functions and teams, collaborating with People Business Partners, people managers, the Talent team, and other stakeholders.
Areas of focus: New hire onboarding, professional development, performance management, employee engagement, DEIB and ERGs.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Strategic thinking: In partnership with the Talent Management team, translate business needs and opportunities into learning and development strategies.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate across business functions including People, Talent Acquistion, IT, people managers and business leaders.
- Program management: Launch and manage structured programs. This includes coordinating timelines, deliverables, and resources, as well as managing cohorts and tracking progress.
- Support data-driven decision making: Evaluate program effectiveness, report on outcomes, and suggest data informed improvements.
- Talent development expertise: Recommend modes and methods of skills development and adult learning that will best achieve specific business outcomes.
- Communication and influence: Provide clear updates to stakeholders. Promote visibility of programs. Facilitate alignment across regions and function.
- Change management: Support employees through transitions, adapting programs to evolving needs.
- Technical: Serve as the primary administrator for Lattice and other tools, overseeing the configuration and maintenance of the system. This includes managing user accounts, configuring performance review cycles, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to employees and managers on utilizing the platform effectively. Ensure the platform is aligned with the company’s talent management goals and reporting requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain program documentation on Confluence, ensuring that all programs and activities adhere to legal requirements and company policies. Keep records of program participation and results for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to People programs, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA), The UK Equality Act (2010) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in deploying and managing innovative programs that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analysis of data and metrics in support of correlating learning efforts to business results and goals.
- Ability to present findings, to make recommendations and to influence decision making.
- Communication of trends, insights, and areas for improvement based on Enable and the L&D landscape.
Required Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience with people related programs, analytics, and company-wide initiatives.
- Experience with designing and maintaining Confluence spaces and Lattice administration.
- Proven experience in project management, program management, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated passion for learning and development throughout the employee lifecycle.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, especially in adult learning or organizational development.
