Job Description:
The role of Principal Solutions Consultant will serve as the P&C Insurance Product & Underwriting subject matter expert (SME) and a business-outcomes driven pre-sales leader across the Americas. Working close with the frontline Sales Executives, the Principal Solutions Consultant will overlay to elevate discovery and solution design by translating complex insurance product and underwriting ecosystems into quantifiable carrier value. Key value themes include rapid speed-to-market, analytical sophistication, and AI solutions.
The Principal Solutions Consultant will have a unique opportunity to provide thought leadership both within Earnix and throughout the industry. This role will serve as a cross-functional liaison between Product Management and Marketing, ensuring customer needs match solutions built and messaging.
What you’ll do:
· Serve as the primary P&C Insurance Product & Underwriting business authority – working across sales, product, and marketing
· Support Sales Directors in executive-level discovery, solution presentations, and RFP responses by articulating how the Earnix product portfolio solves the unique needs of commercial lines insurance carriers
· Assist with the go-to-market product launch for any products included within the applicable product portfolio
· Partner with Product Management and Solutions Engineering to assure sales content and demos properly align the Earnix technology with market need
· Assist with business case development for prospects trying to quantify the economic value of technology solutions
· Lead customer workshops where you guide customers through solution design exercises and map the solutions back to the Earnix technology
· Serve as an industry thought leader – compose whitepapers, generate blog entries, present at industry events
· Stay on top of relevant industry news and technology trends

Requirements
You’ll do it using:
· Deep professional experience - 15+ years hands-on insurance product or underwriting experience with a view of how to transform the industry with cutting edge technology
· Ability to lead presentations to large groups, and tie business problems to technical solutions. Excellent communication skills and your ability to relay and simplify complicated concepts to non-technical people while maintaining the ability to speak to highly technical people.
· Ability to talk on a peer-to-peer level with senior insurance executives, including Heads of LOBs, Heads of Products, CIOs, and business teams such as Pricing, Actuarial, IT, and Product teams at the largest insurance carriers.
· Traveling to clients and prospects upon request
