The Services team has deep, cross‑sector expertise in corporate governance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory environments, and the scale to deliver significant change smoothly with global, flexible, and reliable outcomes. Their vision is to partner as trusted advisors, working in joint teams that complement client strengths with the right mix of talent.

An Advisory Specialist II delivers governance, audit, risk, and compliance solutions and typically owns defined workstreams from discovery through go‑live. They lead discovery, translate requirements into technical design documents, configure and iterate Diligent One prototypes, and drive UAT and client enablement through training and issue management. Operating within standard project methodology, they communicate timelines and risks across teams and are measured on utilization, SLA/turnaround, CSAT/quality, and on‑time administrative hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end Professional Services across the customer journey and product enablement, ensuring quality and timely outcomes.
  • Partner across the customer lifecycle with PS management, Customer Success, and stakeholders (e.g., Sales, PM, PMM, Marketing) to align on goals and execution.
  • Leverage and continually deepen Domain/Industry/Product expertise to advise best practices for solution rollout and project execution.
  • Lead implementation independently by understanding client program goals and data processes, configuring with Diligent methodology, and enabling users.
  • Provide prescriptive guidance and training on product usage to drive adoption and outcomes, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers to triage and route new service requests appropriately while maintaining scope, schedule, and quality.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in internal or external client-facing or consulting roles.
  • Embody a Customer First mindset, operating with urgency, excellence, and accountability to customer outcomes and experiences.
  • Maintain high quality and process discipline, with strong attention to detail and accuracy while following procedures with stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage time effectively and multitask in fast-paced environments, collaborating as part of a team to deliver under tight timeframes and adapt to change.
  • Proactively solve problems and embrace new challenges, communicating effectively through presentations and workshops and engaging customer personnel to resolve GRC requirements and goals.
  • Passionate about GRC and have relevant professional accreditations planned, in progress, or obtained (e.g., CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CPA).

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • GRI Sustainability Reporting, ISB, or other relevant certifications.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Compliance Management, Legal & Ethics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Security, MIS).
  • Experience with GRC and/or analytics tools is a plus; background with platform-based products/solutions.
