Strategic Sales Associate Position Summary
Strategic Sales Associates will partner directly with Strategic Account Executives (AEs) to support the end-to-end sales process for high-value accounts.
This is a critical support role designed to increase AE productivity, accelerate complex deals, and drive operational excellence across strategic sales motions.
What You'll Do:
Sales Strategy & Planning
Conduct in-depth research on target accounts and industries
Build account plans and stakeholder maps in collaboration with AEs
Maintain and update strategic account documentation
Deal Support & Execution
Coordinate and manage RFPs, proposals, pricing reviews, and contracts
Act as liaison with internal teams (legal, finance, product) during deal cycles
Track progress of open opportunities and action items
Pipeline & CRM Management
Ensure data accuracy in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
Support pipeline reviews and forecasting processes
Generate sales performance reports and insights for AEs and leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success to align on account needs
Help coordinate internal resources for strategic pursuits and customer meetings
Support preparation for executive briefings and QBRs
Customer Engagement Support
Assist in preparing for customer meetings, follow-ups, and touchpoints
Monitor post-meeting action items and ensure timely completion
Help track customer feedback and engagement signals
Qualifications
2–4 years in a sales support, business operations, or customer-facing role
Experience in B2B/enterprise sales environments strongly preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM), Excel, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
Self-starter with high attention to detail and ownership mentality
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
