Job Summary

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven SVP of Accounting and Tax to lead our global accounting function. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive all aspects of accounting and financial reporting in a dynamic and growing company. You’ll lead a talented global team to set the vision and execution roadmap for our accounting strategy, ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational excellence. As a member of the Finance leadership team, you’ll partner cross-functionally to support and scale our operations. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide executive leadership for all global accounting and tax functions, including general ledger, technical accounting, consolidations, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable and tax. This role includes leadership of both US and global entity financial reporting as well as operational oversight for global payroll.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and all financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

  • Serve as the primary interface to our external auditors and ensure successful and timely audit completion. Act as a key participant in quarterly Audit Committee meetings and drive the preparation of materials.

  • Lead and oversee global internal control strategies, adherence and operational execution in partnership with key cross functional leaders.

  • Oversee technical accounting efforts, including researching and implementing new accounting standards and writing technical memos, as well as global tax activities including transfer pricing, tax filing activity and position balances.

  • Partner cross functionally and with accounting leadership to drive Revenue Ops activities for global Sales.

  • Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on complex accounting issues, business transactions (e.g., M&A, financing), and financial risk management.

  • Build and manage a high-performing accounting organization to scale with company growth.

  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and policies to support scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure alignment across all financial reporting and compliance efforts.

  • Stay current on emerging accounting and regulatory issues, and proactively assess their impact on the business.

What You’ll Need:

  • Demonstrated success in leading a complex, global accounting and tax function as well as order to cash operations, ideally in a growth oriented software environment.

  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls as well as a track record of driving scale in an accounting and tax function.

  • Combination of public and private company experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level and lead cross-functional initiatives with clarity and strategic insight.

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, proven business acumen.

  • Passion for operational excellence, data integrity, and building inclusive, high-performing teams

  • Strong work ethic with customer-first approach, balancing a sense of urgency with thoughtful execution.

  • Demonstrated experience in navigating the accounting and tax implications of capital markets transactions.

  • CPA certification and strong technical accounting foundation required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.
