About the role

At DataSnipper, we’re on a mission to automate the mundane and unlock the meaningful -and finance plays a key role in making that happen.

As a Finance Intern, you won’t just be supporting the business — you’ll help us understand, challenge, and improve the story behind the numbers.

You’ll get hands-on experience across core finance operations like billing and procurement, while also getting the opportunity to contribute towards cross-functional projects that impact the entire company. But more importantly, you’ll be encouraged to think beyond the process — to question how things are done and explore how we can do them better.

We’ll give you the space and agency to experiment with modern tools, automation and AI to reimagine how finance should work in a fast-scaling tech company.

What you will do

• Contribute towards our purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash flows and scaling these processes

• Own parts of the procurement process ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently using modern tools

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies

• Support payment runs, reconciliations and reporting on financial performance – telling the story behind the numbers

• Use tools, automation and AI to challenge and improve existing processes

• Help us scale – not just by doing the work, but by making the work better

What you bring

• Currently studying Accounting, Finance, Business or similar (preferably)

• Naturally curious - you don’t just accept the numbers, you question them

• Excited about technology, automation, and smarter ways of working

• An interest in accounting and understanding the “why” behind the numbers

• A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams

• Eagerness to learn, take ownership and grow in a fast-paced environment
