We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, SRE, to drive the transformation from a traditional SRE function to a modern platform engineering mindset. You will own critical automation initiatives, develop self-service tooling that empowers developers, and establish the foundational architecture for a scalable new web platform aligned with our organizational goals.

What You Will Do:
Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing SRE team, championing reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our cloud-native platform.
Drive and own the transition from a traditional Site Reliability Engineering role toward a modern platform engineering mindset. This includes leading automation efforts, building self-service tooling to empower developers, and laying the foundation for a scalable new web platform aligned with organizational architecture goals.
Own and track key SRE metrics such as provisioning lead time and SRE effort hours to measure efficiency and continuously improve workflows and impact.
Overseeing the architecture and implementation of robust infrastructure, monitoring, and automation solutions to maintain high system uptime and performance.
Own the Developer Experience and elevate DevEx and productivity across DataSnipper.
Empower your team to manage incidents, conduct post-mortems, and drive continuous improvements for operational resilience.
Own and execute the SRE roadmap, setting best practices for service-level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to optimize reliability and deliver scalable solutions for customers worldwide.
What You Bring:
2+ years managing SRE or engineering teams, driving performance, reliability, and professional development.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale cloud solutions and managing high-performing teams.
Deep hands-on expertise with Azure ( preferred) or AWS or GCP cloud platforms, infrastructure automation (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and message queuing systems.
Demonstrated expertise in people management with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment, effectively shape team dynamics, and align individual strengths toward shared goals.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native architectures, monitoring and observability tools, and incident management.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages relevant to automation and platform management, with familiarity using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for coaching and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing scale-up environment
