About this role

As the Events Marketing Team Lead, you’ll not only deliver world-class experiences for our audience of Audit and Finance professionals world-wide, but also mentor and guide the Event Marketing team banking on your extensive experience as an individual contributor. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, and ensure every event drives measurable business impact.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of all (field) events, both our owned events (e.g. DataSnipper Connect) and industry sponsorships

  • Build relationships with vendors, associations, venues, suppliers and other stakeholders during event planning

  • Oversee the demand generation plan to promote these events, using online and offline channels. And partner with B(S)DRs, Sales and the rest of the Demand generation team to define the strategy that comes with pre- and post-work when it comes to event attendance and follow-up

  • Track the ROI of the events program and report on its performance

  • Develop comprehensive playbooks for planning, budgeting, timelines and logistics together with the rest of the Events Marketing team

  • Partner with the Content Marketing team, Customer Success team and Sales team to support programming and speaking engagements

  • You have clear thoughts on gifting programs, activations and other creative strategies for event experiences

  • Thoughts on where a ‘modern’ Event Org benefits from technology, e.g. AI are appreciated

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Events and Field Marketing within a B2B SaaS or tech environment, leadership experience appreciated (no dealbreaker)

  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic event programs that generate pipeline and strengthen brand presence globally

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable collaborating with senior leaders, partners, and executives

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for helping team members grow.

  • Analytical mindset, able to define KPIs, track performance, and demonstrate clear ROI from event investments
