We’re looking for an ambitious and skilled Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join our amazing team in Amsterdam and help design and build DataSnipper’s software.

What you will do:
Design and implement AI features and cloud-native applications
Set up and manage data pipelines in the cloud environment
Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems
Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for cloud development
What You Bring:
7+ years of experience in backend development with Python
Open to learn and work with C#/.Net
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and cloud-native application development
Strong knowledge of API development and management
Experience with building and maintaining scalable, high-performance systems
Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases
Understanding of data pipeline architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient with using AI-assisted development environment (Cursor, GitHub CoPilot or similar)
