Job Description:

Cotality's property tax services are the industry’s gold standard. Join us as a Sr. Associate, Operations Accounting, within our Custodial Payment Processing team in which you will be responsible for processing daily custodial disbursements to taxing authorities for commercial and residential properties to set schedules, controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Additionally, you will ensure the following:

  • Support Daily Check deposit for several clients.
  • Process online Tax Payment and record in Oracle Financial System.
  • Process daily custodial disbursements to taxing authorities for the commercial and residential business according to set schedules, controls, SOP's, and SLA's.
  • Daily disbursement and funding balancing and posting.
  • Daily verification of funding and archive of balancing and processing material.
  • Month end close and reporting and activity.
  • Daily liaison with operations, Cognizant and other internal and external customers.
  • Participate in client, RegAB and Sox audits as required.
  • Fully Cycle Accounts Payable processing.
  • Wire and ACH payment processing.
  • Participate in accurate and timely closing of General ledgers on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver results individually and as a key team member in a fast paced, high-performance culture.
  • The function will include funding verification, RegAB reporting and compliance and outstanding checks report.

Job Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years of related experience (college education may count toward experience).
  • Bank teller or related experience highly desired.
  • Experience sharing best practices and improving processes.
  • Strong customer service and listening skills; committed to customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (documents, spreadsheets, formulas, formatting)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
  • Tenacity in solving complex issues
  • Adaptability in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset across teams and departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, presentations, and collaboration.

Annual Pay Range:

44,300 - 52,000 USD
