We enable enterprise teams to achieve 20x faster deployments, 78% fewer production failures, and up to 307% ROI on their Salesforce investments.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer to take a hands-on, technical leadership role within our Business Applications team. This position will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions that support business-critical operations. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company to turn complex requirements into clean, efficient code and lead by example in upholding engineering best practices.
This is a deeply technical role where approximately 70% of your time will be spent coding, debugging, and architecting within Salesforce. You’ll also help guide a small team of developers, set standards, and troubleshoot highly customized org issues.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design & Development:
Architect, build, and maintain robust solutions in Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Gen AI, and other declarative tools.
Code Ownership & Best Practices:
Define and enforce development standards, implement scalable designs, and ensure maintainable codebase quality through code reviews and mentorship. - Platform Optimization:
Resolve complex issues including performance bottlenecks, Apex governor limits, and integration latency. - Hands-on Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve Apex and Flow exceptions, conduct root cause analysis, and deploy permanent fixes in a timely and scalable way. - CI/CD & DevOps Alignment:
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure proper release management and CI/CD workflows using tools like Copado, Git, and SFDX. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate business needs into Salesforce solutions. - Mentorship & Guidance:
Support the technical growth of other Salesforce developers, helping them write cleaner code and adopt platform best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments
- Expert in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Validation Rules, and Process Builder
- Solid experience with Salesforce APIs, platform events, and third-party integrations
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling, sharing/security model, and performance optimization
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across customized Salesforce orgs
- Experience working in an Agile environment with Git-based version control
- Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical decisions clearly and confidently
- Strong commitment to clean, maintainable, and testable code
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Lightning App Builder, Validation Rules) and custom development with Apex.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce best practices, data modeling, security, and integration patterns.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex issues in customized environments.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, fostering trust and collaboration with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and functions.
- Proven capability to translate technical solutions into business value, inspiring confidence in stakeholders.
Leadership and Innovation:
- Strong mentorship skills to elevate the quality of work within the team by implementing and upholding design guidelines, standards, and consistent practices.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and process improvement.
Certifications:
- Salesforce Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II preferred.
- Relevant DevOps or CI/CD certifications (e.g., Copado Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience required.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with the application of Gen AI technologies
- Knowledge of Copado (preferred).
