What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative People Systems Intern to join our People Operations team for the summer. This internship is ideal for someone interested in the intersection of HR and technology, eager to gain hands-on experience with HR systems, data, and process improvement initiatives. As a People Systems Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting implementation projects, data preparation, and system documentation while developing critical skills in systems thinking and stakeholder support.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the People Systems team to support HRIS and Leave Management Tool implementations.
- Provide administrative support for system configuration.
- Assist in preparing data migration reports and dashboards using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Document key system processes and workflows, and create user guides for internal stakeholders.
- Support system troubleshooting efforts and provide end-user support for People Systems tools.
- Perform periodic audits of system data to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving HR workflows and process automation.
- Contribute to maintaining data integrity across systems by supporting data entry and cleanup efforts.
What really gets us excited about you?
- You’re currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- You have strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and enjoy working with data.
- You bring excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- You have great attention to detail and analytical thinking when working with spreadsheets and databases.
- You’re eager to learn about HRIS systems, process documentation, and implementation best practices.
- Bonus if you have prior experience in HR, People Ops, or have worked with tools like Workday, BambooHR, or similar.

Salary for this role is $20 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.
