Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

We’re looking for a FP&A Manager to own and drive CompanyCam’s core financial planning and analysis processes, including forecasting, capital allocation, and reporting. The FP&A Manager will build and own the models, systems, cadences, and insights that empower stakeholders to make the best possible decisions for CompanyCam’s long-term success.

Location: Candidates must permanently and currently reside in Lincoln, Nebraska or the surrounding metro area. Employees are not required to work in the office on a regular cadence, but in-office attendance is encouraged.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the three-statement financial model (we use Pigment) and forecasting processes.
  • Lead planning activities, such as the annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP), quarterly plan refreshes, and monthly forecast updates.
  • Proactively analyze financial performance, identifying key drivers and variances, and communicate insights to stakeholders to drive results.
  • Partner with executives, department leaders, and their respective business partners to understand their financial needs and align plans with business objectives.
  • Design and implement frameworks for tracking and analyzing capital allocation and investment returns.
  • Support Finance leadership and the executive team in optimizing capital allocation decisions.
  • Deliver timely and impactful financial reports (quarterly, monthly, and ad-hoc) to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Grow and manage a team of analysts, including hiring, training, and managing new team members.
  • Other duties as needed, including supporting future fundraising and M&A activities.

The Impact You’ll Have

At CompanyCam, your work makes a real impact. Whether you're writing code, supporting customers, or designing experiences, your contributions directly shape the product we deliver and the people we serve. We're building something that helps real people solve real problems—and we believe that kind of work is best done by a team that reflects the world around us. In this role, you’ll drive impact by:

  • Shaping the future of FP&A at CompanyCam (we’ve got some great stuff in place already, but we know we’re still maturing as a Finance function) - you will identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes and systems to scale with the business.
  • Delivering consistent, predictable, and scalable cadences for planning and performance reviews tied to department-level accountability.
  • Providing decision support that enables CompanyCam to maintain Rule of 60+ performance, even at scale.
  • Providing leadership with visibility, insights, and recommendations related our capital allocation - where we’re investing, what it’s yielding, and where the next dollar should go.
  • Driving adoption of actionable, data-driven financial insights across GTM, R&D, and G&A leaders.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, or other degree supplemented with a Finance focus.
  • 5-10 years of relevant Finance experience.
  • A motivated, proactive, strategic, confident (not a jerk) mindset, and willing to get your hands dirty to deliver results.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in analyzing financial data, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Comfortable with both quick “napkin math” and detailed models.
  • Proven ability to manage complex forecasting cycles (annual, quarterly, monthly), develop integrated financial plans, and understand and assess key SaaS metrics.
  • Experience in developing frameworks to analyze and optimize capital investments and understand the tradeoffs between growth, margin, and capital efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Ability to simplify complex financial information, tell compelling stories, get buy-in, and build trust.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build scalable processes, and drive projects to completion. Able to apply “MVP thinking” to ship faster and smarter.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to take ownership, identify problems, and drive solutions with minimal direction.
  • The ability to identify and prioritize team goals and understand how to execute said goals with minimal direction.
  • Experience with BI tools and SQL, preferred.
  • Experience working for a B2B SaaS company, preferred.
  • Experience with FP&A software (we use Pigment!), preferred.
  • Experience managing a small team of analysts, preferred.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
  • A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
