Global Partnerships at Coda
The mission of Coda’s Global Partnerships Team (GPT) is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners. GPT achieves this mission by leading the development and growth of global Publishing Partnerships (deployment of situationally dependent monetization solutions to expand revenue and margin for Coda’s gaming and creator partners), Payment Partnerships (execution and management of payment channel relationships that provide access to both payment methods and promotional reach), and Distribution Partnerships (execution of partnerships that expand the reach of distribution, monetization and promotional efforts conducted on behalf of gaming and creator partners).
The China Partnership Team is vital to Coda. The book of business within the segment includes key accounts like Tencent, NetEase, HoYoverse, Moonton, Funplus, 4399, etc. This team is expected by many as the next key breakthrough function within the company. The Publisher Account Management Team in China will lead efforts to manage key accounts within the gaming segment and shape the team's future growth by devising strategies, implementing product solutions, and facilitating marketing support. Coda is rapidly expanding its footprint with more emerging publishers, we are searching for an Account Management Associate who could potentially be groomed into an Account Manager. As an Account Management Associate, you are expected to act as a key communicator among both external and internal departments, facilitating collaborations and supporting Account Managers’ strategy-making by providing insights into the gaming businesses around the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages the financial/billing aspects of collaborations with the client's finance team. Including but not limited to diligent production of the bill items and numbers, troubleshooting the possible issues with internal finance and technology support departments, leading customized financial reporting projects to key clients, and preparing requested documents from clients on specific research needs.
  • Regular operational support for successful collaboration in business expansion from both existing clients and newly established relationships. Working with Business Operations Teams and legal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and integration process with accurate commercial details embedded.
  • Supporting our key account managers with regular market insight productions which includes: diligent checks of performance of all relevant payment channels to identify potential upselling/cross-selling opportunities, market intelligence collections, maintaining of relevant data and documentation to provide solid records and recommendations to commercial decision makers, create upfront seasonal support to key clients.
  • Supporting our new business development process by conducting desktop research on key market trends and publisher performances and providing your ideation for targeting the right customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, experience in clearly understanding and simplifying issues, and collaborating with the right stakeholders effectively to push for results
  • Outstanding learning agility in familiarizing processes and SoPs with strong detailed orientation
  • Clear critical thinking with the right prioritization to keep multiple tasks ongoing smoothly
  • Experience in client communication, data analysis, or project management is a plus
