Your Impact
As a Customer Marketing Manager at CivicPlus, you will play a vital part in fostering strong connections with our customers and ensuring their continued satisfaction by developing and executing strategies to engage, inform, and retain valued customers. This role will work closely with the Customer Success team, Product Strategy team, and other stakeholders to create meaningful interactions and opportunities for education with the customers in your product portfolio.

What You’ll Do
As a Customer Marketing Manager you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel customer retention programs to increase usage, communicate value, prevent churn, and support an exceptional customer experience. Drive campaign alignment and awareness across product, customer success, account management, demand gen, and product marketing stakeholders.
- Create and execute thoughtful, multi-channel customer communications strategies to support migration motions.
- Develop relationship campaign strategy, touchpoints, and communications that bring value to our customers and differentiate us as true partners.
- Establish our company winback strategy and develop motions that make it easy and enticing to rejoin the CivicPlus family.
- Measure campaign effectiveness to continually drive improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to improve customer communication and retention strategy effectiveness.
- Ensure the timely distribution of emergency customer communications, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- Establish a customer communications calendar and own the scheduling, creation, and timely deployment of routine customer communications.
- Build deep knowledge around the products in your portfolio, focusing on the problems they solve and the value they bring to our customers.
- Develop educational content and collateral to support campaigns, such as tutorials, webinars, and knowledge base articles, boosting customers’ ability to extract maximum value from our products and increase product adoption and usage.
- Own the monthly customer newsletter, coordinating and approving content from across stakeholders and continually improving engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, related field
- 3+ years marketing experience, with 1+ in customer marketing specifically
- Proven experience in customer communications, customer retention, or a related role (SaaS experience a plus)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and behaviors
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in utilizing data and metrics to inform strategies
- A customer-centric mindset and a passion for ensuring customer success
- Experience with inbound and outbound marketing and advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Ability to interact and communicate with customers in a professional matter

Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated Salary Grade Range: $61,700 - $87,600
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
