Company Description
We’re Checkout.com – you might not know our name, but companies like eBay, ASOS, Klarna, Uber Eats, and Sony do. That moment when you check out online? We make it happen.
Checkout.com is where the world checks out. Our global network powers billions of transactions every year, making money move without making a fuss. We spent years perfecting a service most people will never notice. Because when digital payments just work, businesses grow, customers stay, and no one stops to think about why.
With 19 offices spanning six continents, we feel at home everywhere – but London is our HQ. Wherever our people work their magic, they’re fast-moving, performance-obsessed, and driven by being better every day. Ideal. Because a role here isn’t just another job; it’s a career-defining opportunity to build the future of fintech.
The role
Join Checkout.com’s Global Events & Experiential Marketing team to create experiences that drive measurable impact. As an Events & Experiential Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of hosted and sponsored events that influence pipeline, strengthen relationships, and bring our brand to life. From flagship moments to targeted hospitality, you’ll shape how we show up across key regions — ensuring every experience is intentional, insight-led, and built to deliver results.
How you’ll make an impact
You’ll turn strategy into high-performing experiences by connecting the right audiences with the right moments, and ensuring every activation delivers against clear Marketing goals.
Lead the development and execution of global event strategies, owning key initiatives and ensuring every experience aligns to brand, revenue, and growth objectives
Independently own end-to-end delivery across your programs, from concept and planning through to on-site execution, managing budgets, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver consistently high standards
Build targeted audience strategies using data and insight, refining segmentation and acquisition approaches to improve engagement, attendance, and conversion
Track and report on performance, defining KPIs that matter and using results to optimize future activity and influence wider marketing strategy
Partner closely with sales, partnerships, product, and brand teams to align priorities, shape experiences, and ensure strong follow-through beyond the event itself
Lead complex, multi-market programs with clarity and control, creating scalable processes and documentation that improve how we plan and deliver globally
Communicate with impact by bringing stakeholders with you through clear narratives, structured updates, and confident delivery in high-visibility settings
Support and develop junior team members, setting a high bar for execution and helping the team focus on the work that drives the most impact
Take ownership of your domain, anticipating challenges, resolving issues early, and identifying new opportunities to raise performance across our experiential activity
