At Checkout.com, we’re on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Service Desk Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be delivering world-class technical support to our employees, ensuring seamless operations across our hardware, software, and business-critical applications. You will be a trusted partner for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues while driving operational excellence.

As an IT Service Desk Engineer, you’ll provide exceptional first-line support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and application issues efficiently and effectively. You’ll lead live incident responses, manage escalations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to restore service quickly. Using a variety of tools and technologies, you’ll play a key role in incident resolution, system administration, ticket management, and reporting, all while ensuring we meet and exceed our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

We’re looking for someone who’s a natural problem-solver, thrives on collaboration, and excels in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. You should be an excellent communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.   • About You:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (preferred).

  • Fresh graduates will also be considered.

  • 2–3 years of experience in System/Network/Security is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.

  • Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, Proxy, and SAML.

  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud, is a definite plus.

  • Experience with SaaS services such as Zoom, GSuite, and OKTA is beneficial.

  • Excellent desktop and application troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

  • Responsible, autonomous, and adaptable to changing needs.

  • Flexibility to work on a shift system, including weekends and public holidays.

  • Eager to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced company and dynamic team.
