Job Description

This is a 12 month maternity cover role, written Arabic is mandatory.

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Arabic Marketing Specialist to accelerate our marketing efforts in the MENA region. Central to your role will be the goal of driving revenue growth for Checkout.com through customer-centric brand, PR, events, demand-generation, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) efforts. You will assist in the implementation of a regional integrated marketing strategy, ensuring effective cross-channel execution. Events and PR will be a significant focus, enhancing our engagement with target enterprise merchants and creating opportunities. Reporting to the MENA Marketing Lead, you’ll be part of a vibrant global team and partner closely with the Commercial team (Sales and Account Management) as well as the wider Marketing team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Regional Marketing Execution: Own the delivery of the 2026 MENA marketing roadmap, ensuring seamless continuity in driving brand awareness and high-quality lead generation across the UAE, KSA, and the wider region.

  • Strategic Events & Field Marketing: Lead the planning and execution of flagship regional events (e.g., Seamless Middle East and Money 20/20 Riyadh) and hosted events, ensuring every touchpoint delivers measurable ROI.

  • Regional PR & Communications: Lead our regional agency to translate marketing milestones and global research into high-impact media coverage and thought leadership that amplifies the "payment performance” narrative across MENA.

  • Campaign Support: Co-create and execute region-specific marketing campaigns, placing a strong emphasis on diversified Account-Based Marketing execution (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) to effectively engage and nurture key accounts.

  • Analytical Rigor: Use our tech stack (Looker, Salesforce, 6sense) to track performance against our "high bar" metrics, ensuring all activities are optimised for conversion and impact.

  • Customer Advocacy: Partner with our most valued MENA merchants to showcase success stories and case studies that demonstrate how our high-performance payments move their business forward.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a collaborative bridge between regional commercial goals and global brand standards, maintaining a "humble yet ambitious" approach to teamwork.

About You

  • Experience: 3–5 years in B2B Marketing, ideally within Fintech or Payments in the MENA region. You understand the nuances of the UAE and KSA business landscapes.

  • Cross-Channel Expertise: Demonstrated use of various marketing channels, including events, social media, content, PR, email marketing and more.

  • Agile & Autonomous: As this is a 12-month cover, you must be able to "hit the ground running," taking full ownership of projects with minimal ramp-up time.

  • The "Expert/Humble" Mindset: You thrive in a high-performance culture where the bar is set at 120%. You are solution-oriented and ready to navigate a fast-paced, evolving market.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Salesforce, Pardot (or similar), and 6sense. You don’t just report data; you turn it into a strategic story.

  • Problem-Solving and Autonomy: Proactive in addressing tasks and challenges with a self-directed and solution-oriented approach.

  • Project Management: Skilled in managing projects, setting priorities, and supporting cross-functional teams to action.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience with marketing technology tools for performance tracking and ROI analysis, as well as providing actionable recommendations to drive improvements.

  • Innovation Mindset: Ability to explore innovative strategies and support the execution of new ideas.

  • Collaborative Team Player: Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic team and collaborating effectively with colleagues worldwide to achieve impactful results.

  • Communication: Excellent English and Arabic skills with the ability to adapt global messaging to feel authentically local.
