Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
To maintain Due Diligence on Merchant customers and non complex case reviews.
About the Role:
As a Due Diligence Analyst, you will be working within the Due Diligence team reviewing and refreshing client records.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks inline with SLA’s to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks to prevent financial crimes such as money laundering and fraud.
You will have a strong understanding of potential red flags and their associated risks with the ability to apply EDD and investigate further when required. Strong internal and external stakeholder management will be key to being successful in this role with the ability to set out clear expectations and time frames when requesting information from clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law or equivalent experience required.
- ACAMS and/or other AML certification would be beneficial.
- Strong payments knowledge.
- Well-versed in handling Enhanced Due Diligence reviews.
- Ability to identify and document identified risks clearly and succinctly.
- The ability to effectively document and apply a Risk Based Approach.
- Experience reviewing payment flows.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment
- Able to work independently and to appropriately prioritize.
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations whilst maintaining SLA’s.
