About the Role
As an HR Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring seamless HR processes and providing an exceptional employee experience. You will support various HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where you can grow and make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding steps associated with transitioning candidates to new hires, including welcome emails, IT logistics, onboarding instructions, I-9s, etc. while partnering with key stakeholders
- Be the front-line face for daily employee support in answering general HR questions
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and questions
- Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring employee changes and updates are reflected correctly
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management, learning & development, and internal communications
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a tech or high-growth environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with HR software (Rippling) is a plus
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
