As VP of Global Partnerships & Alliances, you will lead the strategic transformation of the Camunda Partner ecosystem, evolving the strategy and laying the operational foundation for that scales Camunda’s partner ecosystem across Global System Integrators, regional and channel partners, technology alliances, and hyperscaler platforms. You report directly to the SVP Global Sales in this senior leadership role with global scope and cross-functional impact.
You will be responsible for evolving our global partner ecosystem into a force multiplier, with the ultimate goal of driving partner-sourced and partner-influenced bookings.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and relationship-building across executive and field levels. You’ll work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer-Success, Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations to ensure partners are aligned with our go-to-market priorities and embedded in how we sell, deliver, and scale.

What you'll be doing:
- Strategy & Planning: Define a three‑year partner strategy across all partner types, aligned to corporate growth goals, balancing resale, influence, and technology‑led ecosystem plays.
- Partner-Influence Operationalization: Evolve the operational framework for a world-class collaboration model between Camunda and global/regional partners to consistently influence active sales opportunities. Ensure supporting initiatives (e.g., enablement programs, sales engagement processes) are in place.
- Partner-Sourcing Strategy: Establish a clear and repeatable top-of-funnel strategy with GSIs and regional partners to drive new opportunity creation.
- Joint Solution GTM: Co‑create industry solutions, certify delivery centers, and run joint governance (QBRs, shared OKRs, executive sponsors, etc.).
- Regional & Channel Partners: Establish a scalable program for boutique and regional firms, addressing enablement, demand generation, and incentives. Drive partner‑led opportunity creation in priority regions
- Hyperscalers: Support our hyperscaler and marketplace initiatives by partnering closely with dedicated owners to scale co-sell motions, deepen field alignment, and expand joint pipeline and revenue with platforms like AWS.
- Technology Alliances: Support and amplify our technology alliances strategy by working closely with existing owners to expand integrations, enhance joint solutions, and align alliance efforts with broader GTM and product priorities.
- Operations & Talent: Shape the organizational structure across partner types and lead a team of high-performing partner managers. Collaborate with Partner Ops to implement scalable processes, data hygiene standards, and performance-based compensation frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as single‑threaded owner for partners across departments. Drive alignment and accountability on partner-related initiatives such as partner marketing and joint enablement.
What you bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise software, with at least 6+ years in senior partner leadership roles at high-growth SaaS or platform companies.
- Proven success in building and scaling global partner ecosystems, including GSIs, regional SIs, channel partners, hyperscalers, and ISVs.
- Deep understanding of partner GTM motions—resale, co-sell, influence, and technology integration—and the ability to drive measurable impact across all.
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills, with a track record of engaging hyperscaler field teams and C-level GSI stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives that align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success around ecosystem priorities.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to translate vision into scalable, repeatable programs across geographies and partner types.
- Experienced people leader with a focus on team development, accountability, and high performance in a remote, and global environment.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels; able to influence senior leadership while diving deep into program execution when needed.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills in a remote-first, asynchronous work environment.

What We Have to Offer:
Compensation
For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $344,000.00 to $516,000.00
- Germany: €228,800.00 to €343,200.00
- United Kingdom: £223,000.00 to £334,400.00
- Singapore: S$427,300.00 to S$640,900.00
