Manager, Sales - Commercial Accounts, North America

In this role you will be hiring & managing the team responsible for selling to the “Commercial” customer base (accounts under 2500 employees) in North America. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high growth company, in a $10B TAM segment, selling to the world's top companies with a team of experienced leaders. We are looking for a company builder that wants to grow and lead a high performing team. This role need to act as frontline manager for ~5 AEs and own the strategy for the segment, you’ll report to the VP NA Sales.
What you'll be doing:
- Two key goals:
- Structure $100k-$500k deals to our ICP within Commercial (BFSI, Healthcare, Retail/Logistics/CPG)
- Selling a “transactional” model to non-ICP and all SMB (<500 employees)
- Growing the Team: identify, recruit, hire and coach AEs coming from a technical sales background
- Selling with/through Partners: build out the strategy for selling with SIs in the Commercial segment. How can we build pipeline, build solutions, sell with (co-sell), sell through (reseller) and work collectively with our partners?
- Industry & Product Expertise: display thought leadership and deep understanding of product value and the reasons why our Commercial customers use Camunda to manage their most critical business processes. Partner with our internal cross-functional teams to identify, build and deploy new solutions, product functionality and pricing strategies that accelerate revenue
- Operational Excellence: maintain accurate forecasting (weekly, quarterly, annual) at the manager and AE level. Maintain proper Salesforce hygiene across your team (opportunity stages, MEDDPICC, account plans, contract values and win/loss data)
What you bring:
- History of building and coaching successful sales teams in the commercial segment (<2500 employees)
- History of selling a technical software platform to a technical audience (CIO/CTO/Technical Architecture)
- Deep understanding of the BOAT category of software (Gartner) - BPM, RPA, iPaaS, ETL/ELT, Agents/Agentic, Cloud Computing/Infrastructure, APIs and Data Storage
- Track Record of recruiting, hiring and leading top performing AE teams
- Ability to lead both net-new logo and expansion sales functions
Nice to haves:
- Background working in or selling to organizations in the BFSI industry
- Background managing a team in BPM, iPaaS or LCAP segment

Compensation
For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $256,000.00 to $384,000.00
- Germany: €170,300.00 to €255,400.00
- United Kingdom: £165,900.00 to £248,900.00
- Singapore: S$318,000.00 to S$477,000.00
