Senior Revenue Accountant

The Senior Revenue Accountant will play a critical role in owning and optimizing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process—from sales order creation and customer invoicing to cash collections and revenue reporting. This role ensures revenue is recognized accurately and timely in accordance with IFRS 15, while also supporting the calculation and validation of key SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, and GRR.
The position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, Deal Desk, RevOps, and the GTM Sales team to support deal execution, enforce compliance, and improve processes that scale with growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in operational ownership, enjoys working across teams, and brings both technical and business acumen to the revenue process.
In addition to core responsibilities, this individual will contribute to strategic initiatives such as process automation, system enhancements, and revenue policy development.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and manage the creation of sales orders, customer invoicing, and cash collections to ensure completeness and accuracy in the revenue cycle.
- Ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with IFRS 15, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
- Support the calculation and reporting of key SaaS metrics such as ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), NRR (Net Revenue Retention), and GRR (Gross Revenue Retention).
- Partner closely with Legal, FP&A, Deal Desk, RevOps, and the GTM Sales team to support contract review, deal structuring, and process alignment.
- Drive improvements in the Order-to-Cash process by identifying automation opportunities, enhancing internal controls, and implementing best practices.
What you bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and SaaS / Software
- Big 4 audit experience or industry experience in a group function
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
Nice-to-haves:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
- Experience working in a global, multi-entity SaaS company.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and cross-framework compliance.
- Demonstrated success in process automation or system implementation projects.

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $99,900.00 to $149,900.00
- Germany: €66,500.00 to €99,700.00
- United Kingdom: £64,800.00 to £97,100.00
- Singapore: S$124,100.00 to S$186,100.00
