What you'll be doing:

This is a product design role for the Camunda Product Core team. We have one Senior Designer on the team currently, and we would like to add another Senior Designer to the team. This will be a technical role, so we are looking for a designer with technical experience.

What you bring:

Technical experience - our products are technical, and the designer should have experience working on a technical product as well. Must invest time to learn how to use our products.
Great communication - we are all remote and being able to communicate is paramount to success at Camunda
Willingness to be remote - it’s not for everyone; Self-starter, internally motivated
Design user journeys and interaction flows that guide product decisions and clearly map out how users experience the product. (Focus on the ability to design to a problem, not just for looks - we get a LOT of resumes of people who were only visual designers)
Figma experience (Sketch is also ok)
Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience building with a design system
Experience working with user research - Design research, not clinical research.
Mix panel experience (or any other user analytics product such as hotjar or Google Analytics)
Design Thinking
Experience working with a technical product like Docker, ElasticSearch, GitHub, Heroku
Experience working with distributed systems (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Elastic Cloud) or cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, Kafka, Prometheus, gRPC)

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

United States: $131,200.00 to $196,800.00
Germany: €87,300.00 to €130,900.00
United Kingdom: £85,000.00 to £127,500.00
Singapore: S$162,900.00 to S$244,400.00
