Senior Events Marketing Manager
About the Role
The Senior Events Marketing Manager is a strategic event leader responsible for owning the planning, execution, and continuous evolution of Bullhorn's most visible and business-critical internal and customer-facing events. This role serves as the primary event lead for flagship sales programs, including Revenue Kickoff (RKO), Sales Inceptive Trip (Achievers), and executive-level customer engagement initiatives, ensuring every experience delivers measurable business impact while reflecting Bullhorn's brand and culture.
As a senior member of the Events team, this individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, executives, and key business partners. In addition to leading complex event programs, the Senior Events Marketing Manager will help shape event strategy, drive operational excellence, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Bullhorn's global event portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the strategy, planning, and execution of Bullhorn's sales, customer, and executive engagement programs, including Revenue Kickoff (RKO), Achievers, Amplify Forums, and other high-profile events.
Serve as the strategic lead for assigned programs, shaping event objectives, attendee experience, content strategy, engagement models, and overall program delivery to drive measurable business outcomes.
Partner with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product, and other key stakeholders to align event programs with company priorities and business objectives.
Lead cross-functional planning and execution, driving alignment, accountability, and decision-making across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Manage all aspects of event delivery, including project management, logistics, registration, communications, executive support, vendor and agency management, venue operations, transportation, gifting, and onsite execution.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and communications plans to ensure successful delivery of complex, high-visibility programs.
Anticipate risks, proactively solve challenges, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments with executive visibility and competing priorities.
Manage external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure quality execution, budget adherence, and exceptional attendee experiences.
Measure program success against defined goals and KPIs, providing post-event insights, recommendations, and continuous improvement plans.
Drive innovation, operational efficiencies, scalable processes, and best practices that enhance event effectiveness, improve stakeholder experiences, and maximize return on investment.
Own and lead a strategic workstream within Bullhorn's flagship Engage event series, partnering with cross-functional teams to support the continued growth and evolution of the portfolio.
Skills and Experience:
8+ years of event management experience, including ownership of large-scale corporate, sales, customer, executive, or incentive events.
Demonstrated success leading highly visible, complex event programs with executive-level stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect event execution to broader business objectives and outcomes.
Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with experience managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels, including senior executives and sales leadership.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant event budgets and vendor negotiations.
Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency with Cvent, including registration builds, attendee management, communications, reporting, onsite solutions, and integration of event technology into scalable event operations.
Experience leveraging event technology platforms, registration systems, mobile apps, and reporting tools to improve attendee experiences and operational efficiency.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and lead through change.
Willingness to travel for events across North America, with occasional travel to the UK/EMEA.
The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual target bonus & a comprehensive benefits package.
