About the role

This role is based in Amsterdam and requires a hybrid working pattern, with 3–4 days per week in the office on average, with flexibility required depending on business needs.
A typical day will include...
Managing day-to-day office and facilities operations in Amsterdam, including vendors, building management, office logistics (supplies, inventory, access, meeting rooms), and overall workplace upkeep
Planning and coordinating employee events, engagement activities, and office initiatives to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries while maintaining accurate employee records and supporting HR administration in Workday
Coordinating employee lifecycle processes, including employee changes, leavers, and payroll inputs, working closely with HR, Payroll, and internal teams
Managing sickness absence and leave processes (e.g. maternity, parental), including documentation, tracking, and coordination with stakeholders and external bodies (e.g. UWV)
Managing operational responsibilities such as lease car administration, audits, reporting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations
Identifying opportunities to improve HR and office processes, contributing to a more efficient and effective employee experience
Participate in HR and HR Operations projects as they come up
This role is a fit for you if…
You have a few years’ experience in office or facilities management, operations, or a similar administrative role, with some exposure to HR processes and an interest in developing further in this area
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
You are comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
You have a basic understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle, benefits, and leave management
