About the Role...
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead and scale our revenue accounting function in a growing SaaS environment. This role will own revenue recognition under ASC 606, drive operational improvements, and manage a team responsible for accurate, timely revenue reporting.
The ideal candidate is both technically strong and operationally minded—someone who can overhaul and build scalable processes, develop talent, and ensure a high standard of accuracy and compliance as the business evolves.
A typical day will include...
Own and oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 across subscription, usage-based, and professional services revenue streams
Lead the monthly revenue close process, ensuring all journal entries, schedules, and account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
Oversee the preparation and review of revenue-related reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, setting clear expectations, reviewing work, and supporting professional growth
Overhaul, design, and implement scalable revenue accounting processes, workflows, and documentation to support growth and complexity
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on revenue-related matters, including preparation of technical accounting memos and audit support
This role is a fit for you if...
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with deep SaaS revenue accounting and ASC 606 experience
Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of subscription, usage-based, and professional services revenue models
Demonstrated ability to build, improve, and scale accounting processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance execution with strategic thinking
Experience with Intacct, Salesforce, Zuora, or similar systems preferred
Why This Role Matters
This role is critical to ensuring revenue is reported accurately, compliantly, and efficiently as the company scales. You’ll play a key role in strengthening processes, developing talent, and enabling the business with reliable financial information.
The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. In addition, this role is eligible for a 10% target bonus & a comprehensive benefits package.
