About the role
We are seeking a technically adept Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team . Reporting to our Director of Accounts, you will focus on selling the Textkernel product line to both new and existing customers. This role combines consultative selling with technical credibility - ideal for someone who can build strong client relationships, uncover opportunities, and advise on API-driven solutions in the Recruitment, HR Tech, & Government/Consultancy industries.
The successful candidate must be bi-lingual (English and Dutch)
A typical day will include...
Managing a portfolio of strategic or high-value clients and prospects within the ISV's and/or Government sector and Corporate space.
Owning the full sales cycle: from discovery and solution design to deal close and handoff.
Acting as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding client workflows and how our tech fits into their environment.
Collaborating with technical teams to guide customers on API integrations, product capabilities, and implementation best practices.
Running product demos, technical workshops, and ROI-focused conversations with both business and technical stakeholders.
Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs and product fit.
Providing customer feedback to Product to influence roadmap priorities
This role is a fit for you if you have…
3–5+ years in a client-facing sales or account management role, ideally in SaaS or recruitment tech.
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data integration, and system workflows.
Experience working with or selling to recruitment/staffing agencies or HR tech buyers.
Strong commercial acumen with a consultative selling style.
Comfortable engaging both business owners and commercial stakeholders, and technical stakeholders (e.g., CTOs, Product Managers).
Ability to translate technical features into business outcomes.
Bonus points for...
Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems
Exposure to REST APIs, and reading technical documentation
Background in SaaS, Recruitment, Staffing, or HR tech implementation
Understanding of common SaaS sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger, or FPIS)
Working with Partners/Marketplaces for ISV's or SI's
