We are seeking an Onboarding Engineer to join our Professional Services team. This role is critical to the success of every new customer and serves as the technical lead during the onboarding phase. You will work closely with customers to deliver and configure Brinqa’s platform, ensuring each deployment is implemented to standard, follows best practices, and provides a solid foundation for long-term value.

Unlike traditional support or advisory roles, this is a hands-on delivery role. You will do the majority of the technical setup and configuration, guiding customers through onboarding while implementing solutions that match their business goals and security priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Technical Deployment: Lead the hands-on setup and configuration of the Brinqa platform for new customers, aligning with Brinqa’s standardized architecture and delivery model.
  • Best-Practice Implementation: Use your expertise to guide decisions around platform design and deployment, ensuring implementations adhere to Brinqa’s best practices while meeting customer requirements.
  • Customer Collaboration: Partner with customer stakeholders (technical and business) to understand use cases, configure workflows, and communicate clearly throughout the onboarding process.
  • Time-to-Value Acceleration: Drive customers to full platform readiness within Brinqa’s 90-day onboarding target by proactively managing tasks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Foundation for Success: Ensure each deployment sets the stage for long-term scalability, with clearly documented configurations that allow for future customization and expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers and Customer Success Managers to stay aligned on scope, timeline, and delivery milestones throughout the onboarding phase.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience: 2+ years in a hands-on technical role delivering customer-facing software solutions — such as onboarding, implementation, or technical consulting — ideally in a SaaS or cybersecurity context.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable performing system configuration, managing data integrations, and troubleshooting platform issues. Experience with various security solutions, Linux environments, or scripting is a plus.
  • Customer Skills: Able to engage with customers directly, explain complex concepts in simple terms, and instill confidence in the delivery process.
  • Execution-Oriented: Organized and proactive, with a bias toward action, ownership, and timely delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Experienced in working as part of a project team, sharing knowledge, and contributing to process improvements.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or relevant technical credentials are a plus.
