Flutter Software Engineer / Mobile Developer

Branding Brand is searching for US-based Software Engineers to help create mobile apps and sites for an international portfolio of high-profile brands in retail, healthcare and hospitality. Ideal candidates are skilled in Dart and Flutter, with real-world experience in building robust mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior developers and architects to produce world-class mobile e-commerce experiences used by over 10 million visitors a day
• Develop enterprise Flutter mobile applications
• Take app and web projects from mock-ups to completion
• Work closely with Designers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Account/Project Managers to communicate status of projects
• Work with bug tracking/project management software suites
• Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
• Learn our proprietary platform technology for mobile websites and apps, using the latest functionality in mobile innovations
• Contribute to the evolution of our technology
• Implement secure coding best practices
• Participate in ongoing security training and awareness

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Flutter and Dart programming language
• Understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms
• Understanding of declarative programming and reactive programming
• Ability to transform design mockups and wireframes into functional components
• Strong skill-set in creative problem solving
• A solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• A solid understanding of mobile app development principles and best practices
• A background in native iOS and Android development or experience with React Native is a plus
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Git source control
• Prior experience in test-driven development is a plus
• Prior experience in retail, healthcare or hospitality technology is a plus
• Prior experience in mobile e-commerce is a plus
• Experience with bash/command line is a plus

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $120,000 per year.
