In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead high-impact collaborations that directly drive revenue growth and large-scale POS device acquisition. This role is central to expanding distribution, unlocking large enterprise opportunities, and building deep relationships across the payment’s ecosystem, including networks, banks, aggregators, and institutional partners.
The expectation is to build, monetize, and scale partnerships across networks, banks, enterprises, and government channels to accelerate POS deployment and transaction-led revenues.
Responsibilities will include
1. Payments Ecosystem & Network Partnerships
Own and manage relationships with global and domestic payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and NPCI
Drive strategic initiatives with network partners to increase transaction volumes and acceptance footprint
Leverage network-led programs for co-marketing, incentives, and growth acceleration
2. POS Acquisition & Deployment
Lead large-scale POS acquisition strategies through partnerships with enterprises, aggregators, and channel partners
Close multi-location / multi-POS deals with large merchants, retail chains, and institutions
Build and scale distribution channels to accelerate POS deployment across geographies
3. Revenue Generation & Monetization
Own revenue targets linked to partnerships (TPV, MDR, and device-led revenue)
Structure commercial models to ensure profitable and scalable monetization
Identify and unlock new revenue streams through ecosystem collaborations
4. Banking & Financial Institution Partnerships
Onboard and grow partnerships with cooperative banks, small finance banks, and regional banks
Develop acquiring, distribution, and co-lending partnerships to expand merchant base and POS penetration
5. Enterprise & Strategic Alliances
Identify and onboard large enterprise partners for POS rollouts (retail, fuel, mobility, government, etc.)
Build bundled offerings (hardware + payments + services) to increase deal size, stickiness, and long-term value
6. Government & Public Sector Engagement (KR)
Drive partnerships with government bodies, PSUs, and institutions for POS hardware deployment
Track and participate in tenders, digital initiatives, and financial inclusion programs
To succeed in the role
Impact
Drive incremental TPV and MDR revenue through partner-led POS deployments, contributing meaningfully to overall P&L.
Enable scalable distribution via banking, NBFC, fintech, and enterprise alliances—reducing
direct acquisition cost and accelerating merchant onboarding.
Expand banking ecosystem coverage, especially across cooperative and regional banks,
unlocking deeper penetration in Tier 2/3 markets.
Build a strong partner-driven merchant funnel, improving active merchant base, device
utilization, and retention.
Establish the company as a preferred POS partner for institutions by creating standardized,
repeatable partnership models.
Challenges & Decisions
● Solve for scalability and execution inefficiencies, including partner selection, prioritization,
and go-to-market strategy.
● Manage regulatory, compliance, and risk-sharing frameworks
Qualification & Experience (type & industry)
10–15+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or banking partnerships
Strong understanding of POS/acquiring ecosystem and payment network
Experience in scaling POS/payment acceptance infrastructure is highly desirable
Established relationships with networks, banks, and large merchants preferred
Strong commercial acumen with expertise in negotiation and deal structuring
Skills & know-how
Revenue-first mindset with strong growth orientation
Ability to originate and close large partnerships independently
High ownership with strong execution focus
Comfortable working closely with leadership in a high-growth fintech environment
