Position Overview
As a Talent Partner – Product & Engineering, you will play a critical role in shaping how Atlan builds world-class product and engineering teams. You won’t just fill roles—you’ll own, design, and drive hiring as a strategic lever for our business. This role demands deep recruiting capability, structured process thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders using data and insight.
You will partner directly with product and engineering leadership, act as the architect of hiring processes, and ensure exceptional candidate experiences. If you’re looking to move beyond transactional recruiting and into strategic talent ownership—this role is built for you.
What will you do?
End-to-End Hiring Ownership: Lead hiring from role intake through to offer close. Design interview processes, craft role-specific scorecards, manage pipeline execution, and own outcomes independently.
Problem Solving & Process Thinking: Define problems clearly before rushing to solutions. Identify bottlenecks, root causes, and structural gaps before proposing fixes—whether in hiring processes, candidate experience, or stakeholder alignment.
Process Design & Structured Hiring: Design scalable, structured hiring frameworks. Build interview loops, drive scorecard adoption, and enforce rigorous evaluation discipline to ensure consistent quality.
Stakeholder Partnership: Operate as a strategic advisor to product and engineering leaders. Shape hiring strategies, clarify success profiles, and challenge decisions using structured insights and data.
Candidate Experience Ownership: Own candidate journeys end-to-end. Ensure high-touch, transparent communication that reflects Atlan’s brand and values—delivering a personalized experience at scale.
Funnel Reporting & Operational Rigour: Own hiring reporting. Use our ATS (Ashby) to generate funnel reports, performance metrics, and pipeline insights. Lead cadence calls and hiring reviews with structured reporting, driving operational clarity for leadership.
Funnel Analytics & Data-Driven Execution: Track hiring funnels, diagnose process bottlenecks, and drive improvements using data—not instinct. Report proactively on hiring performance and opportunities.
Interview Enablement: Coach hiring managers and interviewers to ensure process discipline and signal quality. Drive adoption of structured interviews, scorecards, and calibrated evaluations.
Agency: Own outcomes, not tasks. Solve problems independently, act with urgency, and drive hiring forward without waiting for direction. Make principled trade-offs to protect both speed and quality.
What makes you a great match for us?
Proven experience hiring across engineering and product roles within scaling SaaS or technology companies.
Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end technical hiring for senior and complex roles.
Problem-solver who defines issues precisely before solutioning—separates symptoms from root causes.
Skilled in structured hiring design—scorecards, interview loops, and evaluation frameworks.
Strong stakeholder partnership and advisory skills, especially with engineering/product leaders.
Clear, structured communicator—both written and verbal.
Data fluent: Comfortable using funnel analytics and performance metrics to drive hiring outcomes.
Experience using any modern ATS (Ashby experience is a plus).
Comfortable generating reports, tracking funnel metrics, and leading hiring cadence calls with data-driven insights.
Deep candidate experience ownership mindset.
High Agency: You operate with autonomy, solve before escalating, and drive outcomes proactively.
