You'll be working on the challenges that sit at the heart of modern business. No matter your role, the work you do will help organizations move faster, see more clearly, and tackle questions that used to feel impossible.
If you're ready to meet the moment with innovation, curiosity, and excellence, there's a place for you here.
- Partner with Account Executives and the wider go-to-market team on qualified opportunities, with a primary focus on new logo acquisition, aligning Alteryx solutions to customer priorities around analytics modernization, AI adoption, automation, and cloud data platforms.
- Lead technical discovery with business and technical stakeholders to understand customer objectives, current architecture, data landscape, and success criteria.
- Design and deliver compelling demos, workshops, and POVs/POCs that clearly demonstrate the value of Alteryx in customer environments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployments.
- Help customers evaluate solution approaches for data preparation, analytics automation, AI-driven workflows, and integration with cloud data platforms.
- Address technical questions and objections related to architecture, connectivity, governance, security, scalability, and deployment patterns.
- Support technical validation throughout the sales cycle, including proposals, RFP responses, and opportunity strategy for complex deals.
- While the primary emphasis is on new logo acquisition, support expansion opportunities within existing customers by identifying additional use cases, mapping customer pain points to Alteryx capabilities, and helping account teams drive broader platform adoption where appropriate.
- Stay current on Alteryx products, competitive offerings, and market trends in AI, cloud data platforms, and modern analytics architectures.
- Share field feedback, reusable assets, and best practices with the SE organization, and provide informal guidance to less experienced team members where appropriate.
- 4+ years of pre-sales, sales engineering, solution consulting, or related experience in enterprise software, with strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or automation.
- Experience across two or more relevant domains such as analytics, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, AI/ML workflows, automation, or enterprise data architecture.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric. Relevant certifications are a plus, although not a requirement.
- Strong understanding of analytics workflows, data integration, data governance, automation, and how modern analytics solutions fit into governed enterprise environments.
- Understanding of on-premises and cloud data sources connectivity, including APIs, ODBC/JDBC, and identity-based integrations such as OAuth and SSO.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical decision makers, analysts, data engineers, architects, IT stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Strong presentation, demo, and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and credibly.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Apache Spark, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Alteryx or similar analytics platforms is highly desirable.
