Alteryx is searching for a Principal RevOps Business Partner. This position is remote-friendly.

Position Overview:

As Alteryx’s business evolves and broadens, the company is executing a strategy that requires dedicated operational leaders in each discrete Sales region to maximize efficiency and productivity. This is a strategic individual contributor role (aligned to the Director level), reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Operations, and working closely with AMER Sales Leadership and cross-functional Revenue Operations teams.

The ideal candidate will work strategically and effectively to ensure success across Alteryx’s AMER Sales organization. Acting as both the first and last mile of Revenue Operations, this role partners closely with the Insights, Systems, and Enablement teams, along with Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders, to ensure strategy is translated into execution and operational feedback loops are continuously optimized. They will define and refine processes and systems, analyze and track all Key Performance Indicators, and drive initiatives that improve business results.

This role requires extensive communication and collaboration across multiple teams and departments within the company, and occasionally third parties. Ideal candidates are analytical, process-oriented, and thrive in a high-growth, data-driven, operationally focused environment. They must have strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, top-tier data analytics capabilities, and excellent attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the AMER Sales “rhythm of the business”, consolidating, driving, and facilitating the regional forecast and other operating cadences.

  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Ensure operational rigor in weekly pipeline and forecast reviews, driving accuracy, accountability, and actionable insights for Sales leaders.

  • Growth Enablement: Identify growth strategies and opportunities across AMER; collaborate with Sales Programs, Enablement, and Marketing to design and execute initiatives.

  • Strategic Initiative Support: Manage and track the execution of strategic initiatives by the AMER Sales organization in support of corporate priorities and AMER sales, pipeline, and financial targets.

  • Business Process Workflow: Analyze, develop, and refine workflows across AMER sales segments; partner with Systems, Enablement, and other teams to document, scale, and continuously improve operational processes.

  • Business Planning: Partner with Sales Leadership and cross-functional Revenue Operations to drive AMER planning processes, including bookings, headcount, quotas, and investment plans.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Deliver business performance analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders; identify additional reporting and analysis needs; work with the Insights and Systems teams to develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and self-service solutions for Sales leaders.

  • Quota & Compensation Support: Collaborate with Finance, Compensation, and Enablement to support regional quota-setting, territory design, and compensation planning.

  • Resource Optimization: Help optimize allocation of resources within AMER Sales to maximize productivity and efficiency.

  • Budget Oversight: Monitor regional budgets; analyze and recommend opportunities for optimizing expenses.

  • New Hire Onboarding: Develop and maintain clear, concise onboarding materials for AMER Sales new hires in partnership with HR, Sales Leadership, and Enablement.

  • Executive Support: Prepare high-quality, executive-ready materials (e.g., QBRs, business reviews) to drive alignment with AMER Sales and global leadership.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between AMER Sales and global Revenue Operations, ensuring alignment with Insights, Systems, and Enablement teams to deliver end-to-end execution of strategic priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles, with significant exposure to AMER regional sales organizations.

  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel/Sheets, and business analytics tools; experience with quota/commission systems preferred.

  • Proven track record of supporting or partnering with senior sales leadership in a high-growth SaaS environment.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with executive presence.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role in the United States is $180,000 - $212,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
