About the Role – Data Engineering Intern

We are looking for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in Data Engineering within a fast-growing AI company. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will support the team in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers Aily’s AI platform.

This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about data, enjoy solving technical problems, and want to learn how scalable data systems are built in real production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Assist in implementing data transformations and quality checks.

• Work with Python to process, validate, and manipulate datasets.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to ensure data availability and reliability.

• Contribute to monitoring and improving data workflows under the guidance of senior team members.

• Learn and work with modern data stack tools (data warehouse, orchestration, streaming, etc.).

• Currently studying or recently graduated (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Solid foundational knowledge of Python.

• Strong interest in Data Engineering, data infrastructure, and AI systems.

• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced level of English (spoken and written).

• Proactive, hands-on attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Internship Details

• Minimum duration: 3 months, with the possibility to extend up to 6 months.

• Start date: flexible – you can join at any time.

• Working hours: part-time or full-time.

• Location: Barcelona or Madrid.

• Work model: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office).

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Spain.
