Summary of Role: As Advantive embarks on an exciting phase of growth, we're seeking a driven and strategically minded Manager of Accounting Integrations. This critical role will serve as an essential resource within the Controller’s group, proactively seeking process improvements and enhancing accounting systems across the organization. You'll lead high-impact projects, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and play a visible role in integrating newly acquired businesses to maximize value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary integration partner for new acquisitions, managing finance integration activities across various disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions, and fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead acquisition accounting processes including preparing opening balance sheets, trial balance uploads, and drafting related disclosures according to ASC805 guidelines.
- Serve as the single point of contact for external auditors regarding acquisitions.
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of integration projects.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise for legacy ERP systems, proactively addressing issues, reviewing historical data, and documenting knowledge transfer.
- Mentor and manage direct reports through regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning.
