About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Motion Designer who can own the complete video pipeline — from storyboarding → Design → animation → final delivery. A key part of this role will be video editing, especially breaking long-form content into short, social-ready snippets with the right pacing, cuts, and background music.
You’ll be working on SaaS / Data + Tech storytelling, creating high-impact motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product launches, event videos, customer stories, social media, and brand awareness initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualize and storyboard video ideas based on briefs
- Animate explainer videos, micro-interactions, campaign promos, product feature highlights, social videos, etc.
- Interaction design for web — build interactive motion elements
- Work with product marketing + creative + leadership to understand messaging and turn it into compelling visuals
- Edit videos for events, podcasts, webinars, and social media — creating polished, bite-sized snippets will be a core responsibility
- Stay on top of motion and video trends to keep our brand fresh and modern
Skill Requirements
- Strong command of After Effects, Rive, Premiere Pro, Illustrator & Figma
- Experience in 2D motion design for SaaS or tech brands
- Ability to understand technical or abstract concepts and visualize them simply
- Rhythm for motion, pacing, transitions, typography & SFX
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, style frames & storytelling
- Bonus: 3D skills (Blender/C4D)
Portfolio Must-Haves
- End-to-end motion project - concept + storyboard + animation + execution
- SaaS/tech-style videos (or equivalent)
- Social promos, product explainers, event edits, reels/snippets
