Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to manage the company’s global accounts payable (AP) operations, including leading a team of AP specialists to execute all payable functions. The AP Manager will be responsible for managing vendor invoices capture, coding and payments, employee reimbursements, corporate travel and credit card programs in accordance with the company policies and cash forecasting needs. The AP Manager will collaborate closely with the accounting team, internal stakeholders, and vendors to support the organization’s financial health and growth.
Responsibilities
· Accounts Payable Operations
· Manage end-to-end AP processes, ensure timely and accurate vendor invoices and payments processed in compliance with approval matrix and audit controls
· Manage global travel and expense reimbursements, ensuring adherence to policies and accurate processing of expense reports, provide employee travel booking support
· Manage corporate credit card programs, timely and accurate payments, reconciliation, disputes or fraudulent transactions, and cardholder support
· Ensure timely AP accruals, month-end close tasks, and annual 1099 reporting
· Support internal and external audits
· Team Leadership and Development
· Manage and mentor the global AP team, fostering collaboration, cross-training, ensure the team is performing at a high level and meeting performance standards
· Prepare performance reviews, manage KPIs
· Technology and Process Improvement
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
· Maintain up-to-date procedure documentations
· Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems
· Compliance & Reporting
· Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Provide cash flow forecasts, AP aging reports, and audit documentations and respond to audit requests
· Provides insights to senior management regarding the status of outstanding payables, potential risks, and opportunities to improve the financial position of the company
Educational and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or in a related field preferred
· 6+ years of accounts payable experience and 3+ years in a managerial role in an US owned multi-national company
· Strong knowledge of P2P processes, corporate credit card management and reconciliation
· Proficiency in ERP systems and AP related software
· Strong Excel skills (ability to use Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, X-Lookups)
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
· Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and develop a global team
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
