Company Nurse

Position Overview:

A Company Nurse is responsible for overall employee’s health, safety and wellness monitoring, provide general first aid to employees when required and assess employee health risks. Lead the company’s safety and emergency response implementation and educate employees on workplace safety. Perform other administrative tasks such as the administration and monitoring of company-provided benefits such as healthcare, life insurance, mental health and leaves as well as government-mandated benefits.

Position Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely nursing care, first aid, and medical consultation for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Prescribe treatment, take vital signs, treat wounds, and coordinate with physicians or hospitals for further care.

• Manage medicine inventory and ensure proper dispensing of supplies.

• Maintain accurate health records, treatment logs, and coordinate pre-employment medical exams.

• Administer statutory and company health benefits (SSS, ECC, PhilHealth, HDMF) and assist employees with HMO services.

• Validate and audit sick leave applications; report discrepancies and ensure accurate attendance records.

• Facilitate annual physical exams and prepare medical and accident reports for insurance claims.

• Conduct workplace health and safety inspections and recommend improvements.

• Support wellness programs, safety initiatives, and employee health education.

• Establish partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and health providers; maintain clinic bulletin board updates.

• Assist Emergency Response Team and participate in health and safety program implementation.

• Perform other health-related tasks to promote employee well-being and operational efficiency.

• Provide support in other HR responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  

We would like to you to have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a valid PRC License

• Certified in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)

• Minimum of 1–2 years of related experience

• Experience as a Company Nurse in a BPO industry is an advantage

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• High tolerance to pressure; resilient, adaptive, and eager to learn

• Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task

• Warm and caring disposition

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Willing to work on a night shift
