Responsibilities

Strategy Development

  • Lead the development and execution of regional content marketing strategies for EMEA and APAC, ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives and adapting to local market needs
  • Identify key content themes, formats, and channels relevant to each region to support brand awareness, engagement, and sentiment improvement

Team Leadership and Management

  • Manage a distributed team of 6 regional content marketers (3 in EMEA and 3 in APAC) and a network of freelancers and agencies, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
  • Provide clear direction, regular feedback, mentorship, and performance evaluations to support individual development and team performance
  • Set clear goals and key performance indicators for each team member and ensure alignment with regional strategies

Content Planning, Production, and Optimization

  • Oversee the planning, creation, localization, and publication of content across social media, digital platforms, and influencer channels
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand tone, style, messaging, and business objectives
  • Maintain a high bar for content quality, creativity, and cultural relevance in each target market

Influencer Marketing Supervision

  • Supervise and optimize regional influencer marketing strategies in collaboration with media team
  • Guide the team in identifying, onboarding, and managing influencers and agencies, ensuring authenticity, impact, and performance
  • Ensure campaigns deliver on brand and performance metrics such as engagement rate, cost per view, cost per acquisition, and reach

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global and regional teams across marketing, product, brand, public relations, performance, and design to ensure content initiatives align with business goals
  • Act as a key point of contact for regional content needs, ensuring timely and consistent communication between stakeholders

Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze key content and influencer marketing metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategy
  • Use data to assess campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities across different platforms and markets

Innovation and Best Practices

  • Drive continuous improvement by testing new content formats, storytelling approaches, and platform-specific features
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and implementation of best practices across regional teams to improve efficiency and creativity

Budget Management

  • Manage the content and influencer marketing budget for EMEA and APAC, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact and return on investment
  • Monitor spending, review agency and freelancer costs, and evaluate campaign investments against performance outcomes

Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a people management role, preferably in global or multiregional content, social media, influencer teams
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media marketing, or influencer marketing with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns in both organic and paid formats
  • Experience working with international markets, ideally in the EMEA and APAC regions, with a demonstrated ability to localize global strategy and manage regional nuances

Strategic and Operational Skills

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, including algorithms, audience behavior, content formats, and platform-specific best practices
  • Strong expertise in influencer marketing and agency management:

    • Talent sourcing and onboarding
    • Contract negotiation and collaboration structure
    • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • Solid grasp of key performance metrics for both content and influencer marketing, including: Engagement Rate (ER), Cost per View (CPV), Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Reach, Impressions, CTR, VTR, Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) from influencer partnerships

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-first or hybrid environment
  • Experience in cross-cultural communication and collaboration with stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to:

    • Manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously
    • Set clear priorities
    • Deliver high-quality results on time

Analytical and Creative Thinking

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools such as: Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Tools, Google Analytics, Influencer platforms like HypeAuditor or CreatorIQ
  • Ability to interpret insights and optimize strategy accordingly, turning data into actionable decisions
  • Creative thinking and storytelling skills with a strong sense of brand tone and narrative structure

Language and Communication

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required
  • Knowledge of other languages spoken in the EMEA or APAC regions is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to inspire both internal teams and external partners
