As a Senior Business Operations Analyst at Gainsight, you will focus on the resource management processes and be responsible for understanding SOWs, project creation, resource management, and data analysis. It will also include supporting the revenue and invoicing processes as needed.
Job Location: Hyderabad
Ideal years of experience: 7 - 10 years.
What You’ll Do Here
Create projects and assign available staff through PSA to projects based on their skills and experience
Read, understand, and analyze the Statement of Work (SOW)/Contract
Resource Management - tracking and matching skills in the resource pool and aligning the best fit based on resource request skill requirements and project types
Partner Resource Management - Understanding partner availability and contracting with subcontract resources when needed
Monitor employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours
Collaborate on resource management with internal departments
Provide project managers with ongoing resource management and related support
Addressing queries related to projects, resources management and utilization
Data analysis and reporting related to open demand, utilization, workload and other related reports
Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures as required, as well as other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Strong English communication and documentation skills
Bachelors / Masters in any discipline
Experience in resource management and allocation & resource utilization
Should have keen analytical skills to assess current staffing needs and anticipate the need to redirect projects
Should have knowledge about forecasting and budgeting
Must have hands-on experience with Kantata PSA
Should have the ability to learn new concepts and software
Comfortable in supporting and taking requirements from a remote workforce (US-based)
Must be able to spend substantial time interfacing with the team in the US
Contribute to regular status meetings with project team, and stakeholders [at times customers]
Maintain a highly organized and accurate task list, visible to project management and other project resources engaged
Produce marketing related documents and supporting materials which may be used by resources within Gainsight or Customer organization to understand or complete configuration
Provide updates, status, and next steps through email on a regular cadence through Chatter and Email
Track time, progress, goals, and deadlines
Good at MS Excel or Google Sheets (Intermediate and above level)
