Job Description:
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and business stakeholders to define AI-driven solutions and model requirements. You will play a critical role in the development of new AI capabilities, the ongoing maintenance of AI pipelines, and ensuring that all models meet best practices for machine learning engineering, including rigorous testing and comprehensive documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Model Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and services, leveraging tools such as Vertex AI, Dataflow, and KFP.
- Generative AI (GenAI) Models: Develop and deploy generative AI models using LangChain and other advanced AI frameworks.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of containerized AI applications, ensuring that models and services are efficient, scalable, and reliable, meeting high-performance benchmarks and production requirements.
- ML Pipeline Implementation & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain continuous prediction pipelines using Kubernetes, Airflow, KFP, and Vertex AI to ensure the ongoing operation and scalability of AI solutions.
Job Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with a master’s degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering or ML/AI engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, GCP, Cloud Architecture, KFP, Vertex AI, and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scalable, efficient AI/ML pipelines for large datasets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including machine learning engineers and data scientists, to define model requirements, develop solutions, and iterate on model improvements to meet business objectives.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in machine learning engineering, including code quality, rigorous testing, version control, and comprehensive documentation throughout the model development lifecycle (MDLC).
- Lead and implement Agile practices within the team, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development to ensure efficient delivery of AI projects and continuous improvements.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the AI engineering team, ensuring the adoption of the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance team performance and product development.
