In this role, you have the opportunity to …

 Be a part of the team building the definitive financial services platform for the consumer community in India.

 Be responsible for developing & growing one of the first successful implementations of lending based on velocity-led underwriting in this part of the world.

 To straddle zero-to-one experiments and expanding the scope of proven projects as we focus on blitz scaling our revenue growth.

Responsibilities will include …

Functional Expertise

 Managing Collection for Unsecured Loans through a large network of Collections Agencies.

 Achieving collection targets assigned at Product level by meeting collection target for the states and region assigned.

 Keeping the write off per cent within risk pricing. Control portfolio in terms of bucket flows.

 Managing and put support mechanism for legal / police issues.

 Ensuring audit queries are complied with, ensuring corrective and preventive action.

 Managing productivity by fixing productivity parameters for collection managers / agencies

 Monitoring performance against set parameters and daily / monthly review of State Collection Teams

 Recruiting and managing a team of collection officer’s / area managers.

 Constant evaluation of collection officer’s/area managers.

 Handling customer issues / escalations.

Interaction

 Time to Time feedback on the basis of field operations for betterment of lending process.

 Establish effective working relationships with functional and cross functional teams to implement innovative and competitive strategies related to field collection activities.

Problem solving

 Ensuring Regulatory guidelines are compiled for entire collection structure in letter and spirits.

 Ensuring that the collection agencies and executives adhere to the legal guidelines provided by the law in force

 Ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct

 Continuously monitoring collection agencies and collection executives to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities.

 Ensuring documented feedback and action taken on all cases

 Ensuring adequate infra is available area-wise / bucket-wise / segment-wise.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

 Graduate or Post-Graduate

 10-12 years of field collection experience

Skills & know-how

 In Depth Knowledge of Parameters to be tracked for field Collection agencies.

 Good Analytical Skills.

 Capable of formulating field collection strategy

 Preference to those who have managed unsecured collections in a Fintech.

 Problem solving and decision-making skills

 People Management skills
