Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Executive to support our EdTech vertical. The role requires ownership of sales MIS reporting, revenue tracking, and operational coordination of seat blocks across institutions or learning partners. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales, finance, and academic teams to ensure seamless revenue operations and data accuracy.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Executive to support our EdTech vertical. The role requires ownership of sales MIS reporting, revenue tracking, and operational coordination of seat blocks across institutions or learning partners. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales, finance, and academic teams to ensure seamless revenue operations and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIS & Reporting:
    • Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly sales dashboards and trackers. Develop automated and standardized reports to provide insights to the leadership team
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data related to enrollments, revenue, and sales performance
  • Revenue Management:
    • Track actual vs projected revenue across multiple programs and regions
    • Reconcile sales numbers with finance and ensure revenue realization is aligned with business goals
    • Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for invoicing, collections, and revenue forecasting
  • Seat Block Handling:
    • Manage inventory of seat blocks across institutional tie-ups and partner networks. Track utilization and expiration of seat blocks; coordinate with sales to maximize usage
    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to seat blocking agreements
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
    • Act as a bridge between sales and cross-functional teams for data-driven decisions
  • CRM & Tools Management:
    • Maintain sales records and CRM hygiene
    • Ensure consistent usage of CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) by the sales team
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the EdTech or SaaS sector
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Google Sheets
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Zoho CRM
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to data management
